i think i'm gaining ground around here! i'm not so far behind on editing, and i even cleaned a couple of drawers out in my desk last night, while editing. yesterday, my sister set up a really organized filing system for me-and that feels so good! unbelievable how organization can make such a difference in how you feel. i just need to stay on top of things. as i mentioned monday, i was so motivated to get my studio organized after seeing vic's on saturday. she has tons of great stuff, but it's all so super organized. i've been wanting to post the photos ever since and finally just edited them.
not only was the table beautiful, but the food tasted awes0me!
the reason for the gathering, was to celebrate cat's visit. such a fun day!
vic and cat's friendship reminds me so much of tara and me. so happy that they got to spend time together!
here are shawn, cat and vic. i need to find shawn's blog address : )
i love seeing people's homes and work spaces, so i thought you might too. i just love a space that is beautiful and yet super functional and organized. awww....i hope mine will be someday.
the past two nights, i've done two photo shoots with families that make my heart ache. not in a bad way, in a good way. so much love, so much beauty....i can't even fathom it. can't wait to show you and them the images. can't wait to edit. which is a very good thing, because i'll be editing a while. i couldn't stop snapping! last night, we took dinner to brooke and josh on their first night home with grey. i snuck outside with him for a few minutes, but cut it short when i heard whimpering at the back door....miss harper quinn was a little jealous : )
he didn't really like this position, so i just snapped it quick.
he loves to have his hands by his face. in all the ultrasound pics he has them up by his face too. so funny how he is only 3 days old and we already sorta know him.
i took a couple shots when they stopped by to pick up harper and grif.
this photo reminds me of one i took of harper-
so, if i post the photo of harper, i can't add any more text.
i'm just in love. i can't stop thinking about him!
the day that grey was born, i did senior photos of phil. phil, his mom lori and i were driving to a different location when brooke called to say that grey was on his way. i asked lori if things started moving fast if they could drop me off at the hospital! they were such good sports. we ended up finishing the shoot no problem, but they were so sweet and willing to drop me off if i needed to be.
isn't their car great? phil and his family were a complete joy to work with. i could hang out with them any day!
since i've posted a ton of photos, i will stop now and save some thoughts that i wanted to share for another day. have a great weekend and God bless!

Boy, I love your work!! Your work, both photography and scrapbooking, inspire me more than any other person around. Very uplifting and who doesn't need that? Love your blog... I check it regularly ... when I look at your work I always get the biggest smile.
You should publish a book of all your favorite layouts, projects, etc... What I wouldn't give for a book of nothing but layouts by Becky Novacek!!!
Thanks for all the beautiful inspiration:)
