upcoming....

there are several things coming up that i'm really looking forward to and thought i would mention here. in a couple of weeks, i'll be in minneapolis at the mall of america doing make and takes for creativity/autumn leaves. if you plan to be there, come and see me! i would love to meet you. i've heard from the other girls who have worked this event before, that it's really a fun one, because of how enthusiastic all the attendees are. i love that! i can't wait! another thing i'm totally jazzed about, is my upcoming trip to the LA area. i'll be the official photographer : ) for artistic affaire deux and i couldn't be happier!~ some of my favorite artists will be there. and i look forward to meeting new friends who have the same passions! i mentioned a while ago, when this was just starting to come together, that i would love to book a few family sessions, while i'm in the LA area. i'll be there the first weekend in october, so if you are interested send me an email at bnovacek@aol.com some of you who emailed when i initially mentioned this, will be getting a follow up email with more details. thanks so much for your interest!

tom and i are looking forward to the long weekend. we plan to watch the huskers on saturday night, and we're hoping to do some antiquing too. i would love to do some painting, but i'm not sure if that will be in tom's plans or not. with the weather being so nice, he may have some harley riding in his plans.

i had the opportunity to do a photoshoot for another awesome family last night. i was really excited about getting to photograph their 8 month old twin boys. i've done shoots with twins, but never twin babies. they were so sweet! and their older brother and sister were rockstars too-

if you look closely, you'll see the deer in the path that they just spotted. love her expression!

i have a senior photo shoot tonight and i need to get a hold of the mom and daughter who are driving out. i can't find the email address and we need to start earlier! the sun is setting way earlier than i thought it would be a few short weeks after booking this shoot. so marsha or caroline, if you read this, please email! thanks!

Oh, I love that they included the dog in some of the photos! I've often wanted to get pictures of my dogs, or me with them. I just love their personalities so much, and I don't have the skill with a camera (or the desire to learn the skill) to capture them.
