saturday really was like a dream for me. the space filled with people and their cameras, anxious to play and learn. it was just the absolute best. i can't even adequately describe it. no matter what level anyone was on with photography, we "got" each other. as i have reflected on it for the past few days, i realize that there were so many things that made it work out so perfectly....and when it comes down to it, it was mainly the people. as people arrived on saturday morning, i was really hit by the fact that this was a really quality group of people. i'm not just saying that. this group was top notch in every way. in fact, as the day progressed, my mind was spinning, trying to figure out a way to stay connected. i didn't want the day to end, and especially not without finding a way to stay in touch. so before the weekend was over, i had a flickr group started! last night, i added quite a few of the photos i had taken. i really didn't take a lot of photos until the end of the day, since i was sorta busy. the other thing that was on my mind throughout the day, was that i wanted this to continue. so i have lots of ideas and plans to continue to have classes and workshops and forums at the loft. here are a few of the shots i took from the dream day:
this little sweetie came for a little mock shoot. she was quite animated and fun. i think she loved it! i loved having her there. so much more i could say...i could spend the day writing about our time together. i can't wait to do this again! thanks to each of you who came! you blessed me.
